Medical Weight Management
Personalized medical care for weight loss and metabolic health
Weight management is about more than a number on the scale. Your medical history, medications, metabolism, lifestyle, and other health factors can all influence your weight and overall health.
At Feeling Alive Health, I take a personalized approach to medical weight management, helping you understand your options and develop a treatment plan tailored to your health, needs, and goals.
Struggling With Your Weight?
Weight management is about more than calories or willpower. Metabolism, hormones, sleep, stress, medications, nutrition, and other health factors can influence weight and make progress more challenging.
I take the time to understand your health history, what you’ve tried, what may be contributing to your concerns, and what you hope to achieve before developing a personalized plan.
Common concerns I evaluate include:
Weight & Metabolic Health
Difficulty losing weight or maintaining weight loss
Weight changes despite lifestyle efforts
Concerns about insulin resistance or metabolic health
Increased abdominal weight or changes in body composition
Energy & Daily Wellbeing
Fatigue or low energy
Sleep difficulties
Changes in appetite or cravings
Challenges maintaining consistent nutrition and activity habits
Related Health Factors
Thyroid concerns
Hormonal changes that may affect weight
Medical conditions or medications that may influence weight
Other metabolic factors that may warrant further evaluation
These concerns can have multiple contributing factors. An individualized evaluation helps identify which factors may be relevant to your health and determine whether further testing or treatment may be appropriate.
Medical Weight Loss Treatment Options
Depending on your medical history, treatment goals, and clinical eligibility, options may include:
GLP-1 medications, including semaglutide and tirzepatide
Other prescription weight-loss medications, such as phentermine, when clinically appropriate
Nutrition and lifestyle guidance
Evaluation of metabolic factors and other health concerns that may affect weight
Medication is not appropriate for everyone. Treatment recommendations are based on an individualized medical evaluation, and prescriptions are not guaranteed.
